Mr. Husain, who started his career as the owner of Hyderabad’s oldest pharmacy, had a deep commitment to making medicines accessible to the people of Hyderabad. During a sister accompanying trip to Kolkata, he happened to buy some ‘Chai Patti’ (tea blend) with an idea to complement doctors in Hyderabad as a gesture of respect to their services, which proved pivotal in the establishment of Ispahani Tea.
